Hi guys first post here though i ve been around lurking for a couple of months.

I got a 420 convertible back in august and this week had a major roof leak passenger side rear footwell was very wet and i could hear water splashing around under the back window near the rear speaker. You need to realign the roof to make the fit a little tighter. Even though we used a 2006 bmw 530xi touring wagon to perform this repair this article can be applied to any 2004 2010 5 series touring wagon with minor modifications to the repair steps.

There are 2 screws in the roof frame for this purpose. I didn t show it in the video but once you have done this it s best to dry the. Search the net and locate the bmw tis unofficial websites and you will find specific factory instruction.
